Ghanaian hiplife musician, Nana Boroo, has finally premiered the much anticipated music video for “Kotofa” featuring co-hiplife musician Castro, who is reported to have drowned while on a jet ski ride at an exotic Ghanaian resort in Ada.
The animation of Castro can be seen in various scenes including one in which he is shown cruising in a Bentley. The musician, who was a friend to the former Sunderland striker, Asamoah Gyan, went missing along with his girlfriend, Janet Bandu, in July, 2014.
Meanwhile, sources close to Castro’s family reveal they are not happy the late rapper has been featured in this music video. The family is reported to have called on Nana Boroo to let the soul of the star rest in peace. According to Castro’s family the images and songs bring back memories whenever they are shown.
A member of the family reportedly called Nana Boroo saying “Why won’t you guys allow him to rest.” Directed by Oskhari Pictures and produced by Kaywa, the “kotofa” video will surely stir up memories of the late Castro.
