#VGMAs2016: Winning Or Not Winning Doesn’t Change Much In My Life-Irene Logan Tells Charterhouse

Irene Logan could not hold back on not winning at the 2016 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) as she took to social media to register her displeasure and ‘fired shots’ at organisers, Charterhouse.

She was nominated for Best Female Vocalist of the Year category with her song Me Do Wo.

However, Lynx Entertainment’s MzVee was announced winner of the category at Saturday night’s VGMAs.

Irene couldn’t hold back as she took to Twitter to free her mind saying:

The eclectic singer/songwriter who broke out of girl group “Irene and Jane”, is a product of Charterhouse’s Stars of the Future talent show in 2006, where she emerged the winner.

She was nominated for the Best Female Vocalist Category during 2007 Ghana Music Awards but she lost to the then Christiana Love.

This year too she lost to MzVee. She is obviously tired of getting nominated and not winning.
