Aimed at visitors considering a future in motorsport or performance engineering, the Careers and Education area is returning to Autosport International for the 21st year, this time in partnership with new recruitment platform MotorsportJobs.com.
Building on the 67 years that recruitment has been part of Autosport magazine, the new dedicated site covers every racing discipline and service to the global motorsport industry. Like the show it will be partnering, MotorsportJobs.com is also part of Motorsport Network.
One of the key challenges for the motorsport industry is recruiting strong candidates and the website hopes to play a part in facilitating that, as the Careers and Education area of Autosport International currently does.
Each year universities, colleges and specialist training companies alike all offer advice on how to find a route into the industry.
New for 2018, this area of the show will also incorporate the Talk Shop stage (previously known as Tech Talk) where experts from a range of disciplines within the industry will share their advice and insight. MotorsportJobs.com will be one of the exhibitors who will be taking to the stage over the course of the event talking about how to recruit in a digital age.
Rob Paterson, Senior Vice President of classifieds, said: “We are looking forward to teaming up with Autosport International, not only in January but also in the lead up to the event. The Careers and Education area of the show is a great fit for our new multi-platform site. In addition to our appearances on the Talk Shop stage we will also be talking to candidates and companies on our stand during the event to offer advice on recruitment in the motorsport industry and show them how to register and use the site.”
Kate Woodley, Show Director, Autosport International, said: “With the motorsport industry employing close to 50,000 people throughout the UK, this chance for prospective students and employees to meet such a wide range of companies and further education providers in the heart of the country is invaluable. We are pleased to be bringing MotorsportJobs.com onboard as a partner for this area of the show and are sure this year it will be even bigger and better”
Autosport International is run by Motorsport Network’s UK title, Autosport – one of the world’s leading print and online motorsport publishers.
