One of West Africa’s most successful businesswomen Madam Grace Amey-Obeng has committed over 300 books to the Yaa Asantewa Library project. The businesswoman, who is also owner of the Forever Clear (FC) Group of Companies in Ghana, is well known for promoting beauty products which help to enhance the beauty of the black skin.
The Yaa Asantewaa Library Project, which was initiated by Ghanaian filmmaker and entrepreneur, Juliet Asante, aims to build container libraries across communities in Ghana. This is a step in providing an opportunity for many young people to discover the world through literacy.
Whiles the project requires individuals to make donations in the form of money for books to be acquired, individuals are also encouraged to give old books that are no longer needed.
To contribute to the project from Ghana send mobile money donations to: 0557828143
Send books to P.O. Box CT 9488 cantonments, Accra, Ghana (please alert us when you do)
